Painted on the day of the queens memorial this portrait references archival photographs of the queen to create a unique portrait celebrating her majesty, grace and love of her furry best friends. This Watercolour illustration was made to help me process that life changes, the Queen had been a constant in my life that I didn’t ever truely come to realise was impermanent. I wish to remember her how I perceived her, a kind hearted soul and hope this illustration puts a smile on the face of whomever it goes home with.

This illustration is 32cm by 24 cm on 200 gsm archival cold press watercolour paper created with light fast Windsor and Newton watercolour and Prismacolor pencil.
